Nowhere Records is proud to announce that as of... well now you can find in our web store or on iTunes the latest release from Chicago's Remaindermen.
The seven songs on Border States take the psych-pop form that the band honed under their original moniker Trio In Stereo as a foundation but from that bedrock rises towering structures of grace and beauty.
From the infectious hooks of O'Immaculate, which you can listen to to whet your appetite on the music section of the band's website, straight through to the deliciously melancholy chords of Tides in this record boils over with honest human experience funneled through strings, keys, muscles and electricity.
We suspect that if these songs don't effect you each in turn you may, in fact, be some sort of robot... a cold heartless robot. You would then have our pity.
We encourage you to run right on over to the store and order up a copy or four of this wonderful record. And we would like to let you know that you are not only supporting a great band, but that 20% of all Profit (to the label not from the band's cut) will be going to the Sweet Relief Musician's Fund for all records sold in the first 6 months of this release.
