Ah yeah... that's sort of one of those questions isn't it? well let's just get it out there then. We work with artists that we select after seeing them play about 99.9% of the time. That's not saying we don't want to hear from you but that is saying that we tend to work with people we know on some level or another. So what does that mean then? well it means that David goes out and listens to music, he finds music that he really digs he talks to the band and if it turns out that they are cool folk he might swing the standard deal their way and put out a record. And when we say record we mean record.. you know vinyl... old school.

So let's say that you have some music that you think david might just dig, even though he's never seen or met you... it's possible we don't let him go out every night afterall. please go ahead and email him (right up there) and tell him about your music. please do be prepared though for an actual response from an actual person with actual opinions that may not match your own... David's not a jerk most of the time but if you're not his thing he'll tell you so.

I have heard tell from other folk that even if he isn't interested in putting out a record for your band he often has some pretty good advice... I guess he's been in a lot of failed bands through the years so I guess he has a pretty good idea of what not to do at this point.
